I was in Paris this week and one of the most unmissable exhibitions I went to was Superdome at the Palais de Tokyo contemporary art museum. Curated by Marc-Olivier Wahler, the exhibition comprises five solo art works including Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni’s menacing choir of Darth Vader masks, Daniel Firman’s gravity-defying elephant, and Arcangelo Sassolino’s air-gun exhibit that fires empty beer bottles into a wall at a speed of over 600 km/hr, responding to spectators’ anxious anticipation with a shock-inducing bang.
